If
you are primarily looking to improve muscle gains and are not too
concerned of your fat intake, Id recommend you try this Recipe. It
combines a mix of Whey Protein to make sure you get your necessary grams
and also provides a high fat mix to feed your muscle groups. So here is is
what you will need:
- Blender [Need
one of these?]
- 1 Scoop of Whey
Protein Powder Chocolate or Vanilla (Lo Carb)
- Half a Cup of Cottage
Cheese (I recommend Vitamilk)
- Quarter Cup of
Whipping Cream
- 1 Cup of Water
- 6-8 Ice Cubes
The amount listed should serve one person
and allow a little extra for a quick fix later on or if you are just in
thirsty for more!
Step 1
Place the Cottage Cheese, Whipping cream and Water into the Blender and
turn on to a high speed. The ingredients here are all soft and therefore
we can use a high setting to mix them thoroughly without worrying about
breaking the ingredients apart.
Step 2
After around 30 seconds, stop the Blender and add the scoop of Whey
Protein. Check the tub for your weights recommended Daily Intake.
Step 3
The mixture will be nicely mixed after around 30 seconds more. During
this time, crush the ice finely, placing the cubes in a bag and using a
Mincing Hammer to crush them. Alternatively you can bang them on the
side.
Step 4
Stop the Blender and add the crushed ice, mix at a moderate speed for
around 20 seconds. Check to see that the mixture is the right texture.
It should be a thick, yogurt-like mix.
