A
Smoothie with a breakfast twist. The oats provide a Low GI so
slow-releasing carbs will give you sustained energy throughout the
morning. There is enough sugar to give you the Energy you crave in the
morning - and the flavour is delicious!
- Blender [Need
one of these?]
- 8x Blackberries
- 8x Raspberries
- Handful of Oats Cereal
(Porridge is best)
- 1x Natural Live Yogurt
(Plain)
- Half a Cup of Apple
Juice
- 1x Teaspoon of Honey
The amount listed should serve one person
and allow a little extra for a quick fix later on or if you are just in
thirsty for more!
Step 1
The First step is to place the Berries and oats into the blender at a
moderate speed for 30 seconds.
Step 2
After 30 seconds, we want to stop the Blender and add in the Live Yogurt
and Apple Juice. The optional Honey is your choice and should be added
in now.
Step 3
Set the Blender to a high speed for 20 seconds, reducing to Medium speed
for a further 20 seconds.
Step 4
Check the mix is nice and thick
